Spring is here!

I cannot believe it is March already. I love Spring, I love the weather, the idea of summer coming soon, the birds, azaleas. I just love everything about it. It is also a reminder that my birthday is coming up, I love celebrating my birthday, well, I just love celebrating life. So I am looking forward to it all. I am also getting excited about painting again. I have been taking a break since the fall,

Here is my finished angel. Rejoicing!!!

With all the graduations going on this month, I am sure a lot of parents ... and students are rejoicing their accomplishments. For some, it is bittersweet, seeing your little leave your cozy little nest is difficult, but seeing your little ones grow up into young adults can be very rewarding...and a good reason to rejoice!

Frostyfest

Getting Ready

Getting ready for "Shop Til You Drop" craft show next weekend. I just got new panels that hook up to the tent on which I can hang my pantings on. They are awesome. I practice setting up my booth, still needs work, but I guess I will figure it out next week.

Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be listing some paintings this weekend on my Etsy account. http://www.florinda.etsy.com Please check them out. I will be listing some paintings, some wall art and some keepsake boxes. I am currently trying to build up an inventory so my Etsy store does not get empty. However, between family, fun time and work, there is never enough time. I am open to any ideas, colors, etc. so please let me know what you think. I will be listing new items about every two weeks.

Here is a new style of painting I am trying and I can't believe it sold so fast. I am in the process of getting prints made so that I can sell on Etsy. I love painting and creating..... "ARTING" is what I tell my family. But figuring how to upload pics, figuring how to ship properly, order prints is a little overwhelming, but I'm hanging in there.

Hi and welcome to my blog. As my profile states, I am a self taught artist. I like to work with acrylics and primarily paint angels with bible verses or psalms. I work full time but very much enjoy this hobby. I have always had hobbies, jewelry making, scrapbooking, painting murals, but I have stuck with painting angels. I have to thank my friends for seeing me through these hobbies. I get obsessed with one and then I have to sell the items to my friends so I can afford more supplies. So Friends "Thanks You!!

One of my new years resolution is to blog more so I can share my angels. I am not sure how all this "blogging" works but hope to learn as I go. I have several paintings in the works and hope to post them soon. So come back and visit.
